About Us

Why the World Doesn't Need More Information - It Needs the Oil.

The internet is already drowning in "end-time facts" and survival theories and many well-meaning attempts to suggest preparation. Yet most people are more anxious and less prepared than ever. Knowing about the crisis is not the same as being ready for it. In the Parable of the Ten Virgins, the foolish weren't missing lamps (information was available); they were missing oil - the inward, non-transferable readiness of character and a life truly anchored in Christ.

Prepared for the Storm doesn't exist to add to the noise; we exist to filter it. We move beyond passive consumption into active biblical formation - replacing panic with prayer, information with obedience, and isolation with a community of the wise. We don't just teach you what is coming; we train you in who you must become to stand.

Knowledge can be bookmarked. Oil must be received and lived!

What We Do

Our Mission

Practical preparedness training for real-life resilience
Structured learning paths from beginner to advanced
Bible-based spiritual formation for times of crisis
A private community of thoughtful, like-minded people

Who We Are

A Community Rooted in Service

Prepared for the Storm is a project of Light Channel TV Ministries (lightchannel.dk), a non-profit, volunteer-run organisation based in Scandinavia dedicated to supporting, guiding, and helping our neighbours.

Our work is inspired by the gospel commission: to love and serve others practically, not just spiritually. We believe that caring for people means helping them prepare for real challenges, building resilience in their homes, their health, and their communities.

Whether you share our faith or simply share our concern for the future, you are welcome here. This is not a place of judgment. It is a place of preparation, practical wisdom, and genuine community.

Timeless Wisdom

Guiding Principles

We have nothing to fear for the future, except as we forget the lessons of the past and the path that brought us here.

Remembrance

True preparation is not born from panic but from a steady mind, daily discipline, and the quiet courage to act before the storm arrives.

Preparation

The greatest strength is found not in isolation, but in community: people who lift each other, share what they have, and refuse to leave anyone behind.

Community

A life devoted to the well-being of others is the only life truly worth living. Service is the highest form of readiness.

Service

The Great Soul

Developing a Heart That Serves

A person with a great soul has a large capacity to love and care for other people as well as for their own family. In order to survive the end times, one needs to develop this "great soul" capacity. This requires special attention to growth in the whole person, both inside and out. This platform is designed to help develop that capacity.

You will find discussions about: practical skills for country living, how to build a log cabin with no money, how to grow a garden that will supply sufficient food for an entire year, wilderness survival skills, medical preparations for emergency response, how to get your finances in order, and several chapters on spiritual preparation in these last days.

True survival is the spirit of sharing. Our objective is not just to survive, but to help others survive, not because we trust in our own preparations, but because we have followed God's direction. This is the capacity of a great soul - to share provisions with those in need and help them get into heaven.

Our Vision

A growing community of individuals and families who are prepared — not just to survive, but to serve, to stand, and to live with purpose in uncertain times.

Wisdom over fear

We act from knowledge and faith, not panic.

Whole-person readiness

Body, mind, and soul — never just one.

Practical action

Every lesson leads to something you can do today.

Community and service

We prepare to help others, not just ourselves.
